Coufos Cellars
Located in the historic town of Rough & Ready on a former 20 acre dairy, the farm is now dotted with hillside vineyards and the old dairy buildings have been converted into new wine making facilities. Specializing in Rhone style wines, Coufos Cellars features wine varietals and blends crafted from estate grown and locally grown grapes. Our wines are made in small lots and are carefully blended to produce memorable experiences. Try our Viognier, Syrah, Petite Sirah and fabulous Rhone blends “Gatti Rouge and “Buffo Blanc.” The vineyards are farmed using only organic practices. Located in Grass Valley, California, our tasting room is open daily from 11am until the party's over. Renaissance Winery
Founded in 1978, Renaissance wines are best known for their uncompromising expression of terroir and distinctive style. Winemaker Gideon Beinstock handcrafts estate-bottled wines in a traditional European style. The Sierra Foothills vineyard is organically cultivated. Elevations range from 1,700 to 2,300 feet. After 30 years of extensive experimentation, Renaissance now focuses on limited production of the Bordeaux and Rhone families of varietals.

Solune Winery
Surrounded and shaded by imposing pine and cedar trees, the winery is a charming old style red barn and is a perfect starting building for winemaking. A corner of the winery has been decorated into a small tasting area. There are also half a dozen picnic tables nearby for people wishing to have a bite while enjoying the scenic surroundings and we have plenty of parking for special events. A small bathroom building completes the guest amenities. Guided winery and vineyard visits can be arranged.
